About Ridekro
Ridekro is a technology platform operated by Ridekro Technologies that connects riders seeking transportation with independent drivers offering ride services. Ridekro is a marketplace platform — we are not a transportation company and do not employ drivers.
Drivers on Ridekro are independent service providers. The transportation contract is between the rider and the driver. Ridekro facilitates the connection, payment processing, and platform infrastructure.

4.1 KYC Verification Requirement
All drivers must complete identity verification (KYC) before going online and accepting rides. The following documents are required:
- Profile photo
- Aadhaar card (image upload)
- PAN card (image upload)
- Driving licence (image upload)
- Vehicle type and registration number
After submission, your account status becomes under review. You cannot go online or accept rides until your documents are reviewed and your account is approved. Ridekro reserves the right to reject or suspend driver accounts that submit false, expired, or unverifiable documents.
Drivers acknowledge that they are independent contractors and not employees of Ridekro Technologies. Ridekro does not guarantee a minimum number of rides or earnings.
Commission & Dues System
Ridekro charges a platform commission on each completed ride. The commission rate is communicated to drivers during onboarding and may be updated with prior notice.
5.1 How Commission Works
- For each completed ride, Ridekro deducts its platform commission from the total fare
- The remaining amount is credited to the driver's earnings balance
- Drivers can view their earnings, commission deductions, and payout history in the Driver Dashboard
5.2 Commission Dues
- If a driver's commission dues exceed a defined threshold, their ability to accept new rides may be temporarily restricted until dues are cleared
- Ridekro reserves the right to adjust commission rates with a minimum of 7 days' notice to active drivers
- Disputes regarding commission calculations must be raised within 15 days of the relevant ride date
5.3 Payouts
- Driver earnings are processed via bank transfer to the registered bank account
- Payout schedules and minimum withdrawal amounts are communicated within the driver section of the Ridekro app
- Ridekro is not liable for delays caused by banking systems or incorrect bank details provided by the driver
Payments & Fare Policy
All payments on Ridekro are processed through Razorpay, a licensed payment aggregator in India. By using Ridekro, you also agree to Razorpay's terms of service.
6.1 Fare Calculation
- Fares are calculated based on distance, time, vehicle type, and applicable surge pricing
- The estimated fare shown before booking is an approximation; the final fare may vary based on actual route and time
- Surge pricing may apply during high-demand periods and will be clearly indicated before booking
6.2 Payment Methods
- Ridekro accepts UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, and supported digital wallets via Razorpay
- Cash payments may be available in select areas as indicated in the app
6.3 Refunds
- Refunds for cancelled rides (where applicable) are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method
- Refund eligibility is determined by Ridekro's cancellation policy at the time of the ride
- Disputes regarding charges must be raised within 7 days of the ride via pawadeshlok@gmail.com
Fraud & Misuse Policy
The following actions are strictly prohibited on the Ridekro platform and may result in immediate account suspension and legal action:
- Creating fake accounts or using another person's identity
- Manipulating GPS location to falsify ride routes or distances
- Colluding with another user to generate fraudulent rides or payments
- Attempting to reverse, chargeback, or dispute legitimate payments
- Using the platform to harass, threaten, or harm other users
- Attempting to access or tamper with Ridekro's systems, APIs, or databases
- Submitting false or forged documents during driver registration
- Offering or accepting payments outside the Ridekro platform to avoid commission
Ridekro actively monitors for fraudulent activity. Accounts found engaging in fraud will be permanently banned and may be reported to law enforcement authorities.
Safety & Emergency SOS
Ridekro includes safety features such as driver verification, OTP ride confirmation, real-time tracking, and an in-app SOS emergency tool. However:
- Ridekro does not guarantee the safety of any ride or the conduct of any driver or passenger
- Users are responsible for their own safety and should exercise reasonable caution
- In case of an emergency during a ride, contact local emergency services (100 / 112) immediately
- Report any safety incidents to Ridekro at pawadeshlok@gmail.com within 24 hours
8.1 SOS Feature
Passengers can activate the SOS feature during an active ride. When triggered after a 5-second countdown:
- An emergency alert email is automatically sent to your saved emergency contact via Resend, including your live GPS location, driver name, driver phone number, and vehicle details
- The app opens the native SMS composer with a pre-filled emergency message for you to send manually to your emergency contact
- The SOS event is logged in our system and is visible to our admin team
The SOS feature requires a saved emergency contact (name, phone, and email) in your profile and active location permission. Ridekro is not a substitute for emergency services. Always call 112 in a life-threatening situation.
Ridekro is not liable for accidents, injuries, property damage, or losses that occur during a ride. The transportation service is provided by independent drivers, not by Ridekro Technologies.
Account Suspension & Termination
Ridekro reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts for the following reasons:
- Violation of any provision of these Terms of Service
- Fraudulent activity or misuse of the platform
- Repeated low ratings or complaints from other users
- Failure to maintain required driver documents or vehicle standards
- Unpaid commission dues beyond the allowed threshold
- Abusive, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour toward other users
- Providing false information during registration or verification
9.1 Appeal Process
If you believe your account was suspended in error, you may appeal by emailing pawadeshlok@gmail.com with the subject "Account Suspension Appeal" within 14 days of suspension. We will review your case and respond within 7 business days.
Ridekro's decision on account termination is final in cases involving fraud, safety violations, or repeated misconduct.
Dispute Handling
In the event of a dispute between a rider and a driver, Ridekro will act as a neutral facilitator. We do not guarantee outcomes but will review available evidence including ride data, GPS logs, and payment records.
10.1 Raising a Dispute
- Disputes must be raised within 7 days of the relevant ride or transaction
- Email pawadeshlok@gmail.com with your ride ID, a description of the issue, and any supporting evidence
- Ridekro will acknowledge your dispute within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 10 business days
10.2 Escalation
If you are unsatisfied with Ridekro's resolution, disputes may be escalated through appropriate consumer forums under Indian consumer protection law.
Service Availability & Limitations
Ridekro provides the platform on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The following limitations apply:
- Ride availability depends on the number of active drivers in your area at the time of booking
- Real-time features (live tracking, ride dispatch) depend on internet connectivity for both the passenger and driver
- Route and ETA estimates are provided by third-party services (OSRM, Google Places) and may not always be accurate
- The app may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance, updates, or infrastructure issues
- Ridekro is not responsible for service disruptions caused by third-party providers (Razorpay, Twilio, Supabase, etc.)
- Features may vary by device, operating system version, or geographic area
We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime via in-app notifications or our website.
Intellectual Property
All content, branding, software, and technology on the Ridekro platform — including the app, website, logo, and design — are the property of Ridekro Technologies and are protected under applicable Indian intellectual property laws.

- Loss of earnings, data, or business opportunities
- Accidents, injuries, or property damage occurring during rides
- Service interruptions, app downtime, or technical failures
- Actions or omissions of independent drivers or riders
Ridekro's total liability to any user for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by that user to Ridekro in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Applicable laws include but are not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
